Ordered vegetarian egg rolls but got pork so couldn't eat them. The mock duck and rice was good.

Love this place. I’ve had lunch here a number of times and always get great service. Even during lunch there has never been a wait to be seated. Definitely recommend the egg rolls and the spicy chicken. I always get the Vietnamese coffee as well for a nice afternoon boost of energy. Zoom zoom.

Amazing Vietnamese food! One of my favorites

Always a Favorite! My parents and I have been going here for over 30 years. Portions are phenomenal and economical. Never had you had an egg roll so large and flaky. The flavor is amazing. Staff is very kind and on top of their service. Even if you're looking to grab dinner on your way home, you will make it in and out in under 15 minutes. Their ingredients are consistent and plentiful. Be aware of the hours because there is a break in the day where they are not open. Their recent renovations have put them up with other hip spots in the metro area. I love what you've done with the place and love even more that my favorite dishes haven't changed. Keep up the excellent work! Can't wait to visit again.

The food is so delicious, service is always excellent, and the prices are pretty good for the amount of food that you get. I ordered chicken lo mein, hot n spicy chicken, and cheese puffs. Plenty of food left over to eat for lunch the next day.

Egg rolls were amazing. I tried to get the Spicy Mock Duck, but they must’ve missed the spicy part.. it was still super good & I’m looking forward to actually getting a spicy version next time around. We grabbed things to go; the lobby/waiting area is really cute, kinda vintage-y feel to it. Staff was friendly and efficient. Food came out quickly and smelled delicious the whole drive home.

First time here and we LOVED the food. The restaurant was nice and clean. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We ordered 4 entrees and it fed my family of 6 with leftovers! We will definitely be back.

Recently expanded their seating so there's never a long wait for a table. Food is served family style and is hot and delicious! Wait staff are very friendly. Parking can be a little hard to find. A gem in North East!

Seriously some of the best Asian food in Minneapolis. Have been going here my whole life. It is a mix of Vietnamese and Chinese food with some American influence. The deep fried egg rolls are out of this world and will melt in your mouth. Also get the beef and chips as well. Service is great and staff is very friendly. Would highly recommend.

This is the newest place for us to get some dinner ! And then I was love the place is so Cool from the outside you can't tell here have a restaurant in the building 😉 and then after you walk in you can see people was smiling to you and greetings to you!

This place is fantastic! We got their famous egg rolls (the ones from the MN State Fair and the Hot and Spicy Chicken. Both were delicious and the prices are also really reasonable. Would definitely recommend. Our waitress was also super funny!

Excellent food and service. My wife is Vietnamese and fussy about Vietnamese food since she can cook very good. We enjoyed the Egg Rolls they are definitely Vietnamese all the way, just 2-3 time the size of normal Egg Rolls. My son loved the Pho. My wife loved the noodle with BBQ pork. Great portions and great quality. I enjoyed this restaurant very much. Try Vietnamese Ice Coffee if you haven't. It's my favorite this is how it's done in Vietnam.

Very good egg rolls, but not like most other places, beef with potatoes is good but often VERY salty. Pho is excellent! The broth is amazing.BUT if you go here expecting typical Vietnamese food you will be disappointed. Entree items mostly are a mix of a variety of Asian styles. More of what you'd expect at most Chinese places. Newly redone decor is very nice. Some great photography of Vietnam.

I came here just for the egg rolls everyone's talking about. It definitely deserves the hype, the outside is super crunchy and it was packed with flavor. I was surprised to find so many Chinese food options at a Vietnamese restaurant, but I gotta say my beef with vegetables was delicious. Not only is the food good, but the staff is exceptional. I highly recommend!

Small hidden location along Johnson Street. If you’re driving down the road it’s not easy to spot but this place is worth looking for. The Pho was delicious, their popular hot & spicy chicken was good, and the vegetarian egg rolls were fantastic. Service was good and the dining atmosphere is nice.

A family favorite! Picked up egg rolls, fried rice, and Lo mien last night for take out. All the food was excellent as always. We always wish we got more eggs as they’re our favorite egg rolls (we each get the giant one on stick at the state fair every year too).

The staff was really friendly and are willing to adjust whatever they can to accommodate for food allergies. The inside was really attractive and the food was served crazy fast!These egg rolls are the real deal and are a feast on their own! They're stuffed to the brim with quality fixings and the dipping sauce is the best I've tasted. I was almost full before my pho arrived! Their pho is also great. Noodles were done just right, broth was savory, and the rib eye was generous and thinly sliced.I'm definitely retuning to try their banh mi!

This is my favorite place for egg rolls for 25 years+. I always fill up while I am there and get 10 orders of them half cooked to go back to WI with me. Other food is great too.

Loved the hot and spicy chicken. Service was attentive. Sweet and sour chicken was ok, all white meat but pieces too large to eat with only the fork provided. Large portions. Fried rice was wonderful.

Known of this place since it opened. The daughter of the founder and current owner was a student of my father in high school. I have been eating here since it opened in 1980. They re-defined the top tier in egg rolls and transformed the entire Asian food market here in Minneapolis. You still will not find anything like them on either coast. Probably the best Deep fried egg roll in the continental US. They make a sticky pekingese style garlic chicken wing, one of the better ones in the city. Can't tell you much about the main menu I rarely get past these appetizers. But I can tell you they are BUSY for a reason. Save the number on speed dial. You will be back.

Yesterday was my very first time at Que Viet. I've always heard they have the best Vietnamese food in MN but I've never made my way over there until now. Every Friday during Lent they are featuring lobster fried rice as a special. **Only at the NE location. I don't know what it is about their fried rice. It taste like they grilled it. It has a bit of a smoke flavor. That's a FANTASTIC thing. The serving size is enough to share with a friend unless you're greedy like me. I was impressed with the amount of lobster in the dish. It was sweet, succulent and not overcooked. I can't wait to go back again next Friday😉. I also want to try another dish. Great service. Great food. Bad parking 😊

Staff and service were nice. Food average at best. We got fried rice with chicken and the sweet and sour chicken. Both were subpar. The chicken in the fired rice was dry and the whole meal was bland. Poor food quality for the money.

How is nobody talking about the desserts?!?! Sure, the beef and potatoes will have you driving 30 minutes across town on a whim because you get a craving for this dish over and sure the egg rolls have been voted best in the state and have their own booth at the State fair and are piping hot and on your table one minute after ordering.... but the desserts!!! The almond cookies are so buttery and crumble in your mouth so deliciously. But the macaroons...... OMG the macaroons!!!!! They are THE best I've ever had! I was hesitant to try the Passion Fruit (because I'd never had that flavor) and it turns out that is my favorite! The chocolate has a mix of flavor between brownie and hot cocoa mix. The salted caramel is my second favorite - so perfectly done! These cookies are absolutely worth every penny. Do NOT miss out on them. Que Viet is quickly becoming my favorite place to go.

Very filling delicious food. Egg rolls or wontons are a must. Vietnamese coffee is so strong, just like it should be.

Finally tried this place out after hearing only amazing things about it. Ordered the giant egg rolls, the hot & spicy chicken, and some fried rice. Food was OK, but it tasted like every other Asian take out I’ve had.. nothing special. Super greasy, ok quality.. egg rolls were huge with a lot of meat.

Best EGG ROLLS EVER! If you try anything here it must be their egg rolls. My family lives an hour away and my dad will sometimes come home with these babies and the whole family is happy! No one is disappointed. Their special lo Mein is top notch as well. Fried rice. Also great. You cannot go wrong at this place. Highly recommend.

This is the BEST food I’ve gotten since moving to Minnesota in 2018. I got the chicken fried rice (you can tell it’s def homemade), egg rolls (HUGE!), the spicy sweet chicken and pork egg foo young. Everything was amazing and I’ve been searching for food like this since I moved out of Portland! It was worth the 25 min drive from Eagan and I’ll def be back.

Loved their egg foo young. Hearty portions, superior service, lots of new renovated space. My friend ordered egg rolls over noodles. Looked super fabulous. One thing I wish is if they sold the egg roll sauce by the gallon!

Every so often I get a hankering for a Que Viet egg roll. I usually burn my mouth, because they arrive hot and I can't wait. Plus each of those deep-fried buggers likely costs you a couple weeks of arterial lining. But one of those and a lunch size Chicken Mushroom chow mein will last you till tomorrow. The service is always good and they keep you watered. This last visit we missed our usual smart-aleck waitress, hope to see her next time.

Half way through my food before I remembered to take a picture. The egg rolls are just so damn good. I crave these egg rolls. There's a lot of good things on the menu but if you don't get the egg rolls, we cannot be friends anymore.
